Designed to match the main topic “sea”, the wide formations “Cloud” fit perfectly into the architectural concept of the canteen in Birstein. The ceiling panels, coordinated with the selected wall motives, not only form a consistent concept in terms of content, but also increase the perceived well-being in the room. The height-adjustable and interpenetrating baffles, in combination with the available lights, create a variety of different lighting effects and generate a very dynamic ceiling design. The acoustic requirements also took priority in the planning process, as the room is occupied by seventy pupils at peak times. In its room concept, the Cloud ceiling system combines the highest technical demands on acoustics with extraordinary interior design.
